I love traveling around the world and experiencing new cultures, tasting exotic cuisine, and meeting new people. However, when I just want to relax and recharge, I find myself heading to the Caribbean.

In Santorini, even the most camera-shy person will find themselves taking a selfie with the breathtaking blue and white backdrop.

Like many travelers, I cut my teeth on cruises and all-inclusive resorts. Then the quest to meet the locals and do the things they do and eat the dishes they eat beckoned me to take the training wheels off and venture on to the roads less traveled.

With the variety food and activities around, no one went hungry, thirsty, or bored. Even the weather cooperated, it was like a Caribbean cocktail… a lot of warm sunshine, a bit of a cool breeze, and just a splash of rain.
