We Could All Use a Push

I love traveling around the world and experiencing new cultures, tasting exotic cuisine, and meeting new people. However, when I just want to relax and recharge, I find myself heading to the Caribbean.

Jamaica is the island where I find myself going most often.

It's so easy for me... I book a flight, hotel and then just go!

I make no plans, I have no agenda, I just go with the flow.

For someone who is constantly planning and making sure everything is in order for others, this laissez-faire attitude towards a trip is so refreshing.

I'm here in Jamaica now. Yesterday I was relaxing comfortably in a hammock. Then a nice breeze passed by. Next a little stronger wind came and my hammock began to sway. Another wind came by and my hammock swayed again. With each push of the wind, I became more relaxed.

I then began to think...we could all use a little push every now and again.

We get stuck in our comfort zone without ever knowing what joy could be waiting for us if we just had a little push.
