With Age Comes Wisdom

I recently celebrated a milestone, I turned 50.  Now I am a proud member of the 50 and Fabulous Club! Birthdays are nothing new, I've had 49 of them, but there was something different about 50.  I felt the need to honor and recognize this birthday more than any previous birthday. Maybe it’s because of the events of the past year, I don't take for granted that I will see my next birthday; maybe it's because I remember my mother proudly stating her age when she turned 50, or maybe its simply because I'm a little wiser now and know that birthdays are a blessing. They say that with age comes wisdom, and I have to agree.

I love the various destinations offered by Overton Travel, they are absolutely amazing! What I also love about the trips is the people and camaraderie that's developed.  I have learned so many life lessons from my clients that have blown out way more than 50 candles on their cake. I admire how you worked hard and are now enjoying the fruits of your labor. I admire how you enjoy life and your spirit of adventure. I admire how your faith has kept you strong. I take great joy when I see the seniors and the young folks sharing a mischievous laugh at the dinner table; that wasn't just a joke, it was likely some wisdom being shared.
