DAY 2 - Thursday, December 5 - Arrive in Johannesburg

Upon arrival into Johannesburg, transfer with your driver and guide to the Thaba Eco Hotel in Kibler Park.

DAY 3 -  Friday, December 6 - Port Elizabeth

Back to OR Tambo airport for morning flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival meet your guide, Velile Ndlumbini. From here you will be driven to the colonial luxury of The Elephant House where you will be staying for the next two nights. Enjoy a half day (Afternoon & Evening) guided safari in the Greater Addo (formerly the Addo National Park). Both lunch and dinner will be enjoyed at The Elephant House today.

DAY 4 - Saturday, December 7 - Paterson

Spend a leisurely morning relaxing at The Elephant House or choose to have an extra game drive if you wish (at your own expense). After lunch at the hotel you will be taken to the nearby private reserve of Schotia, where you will enjoy over 5 hours of game drives followed by dinner.

DAY 5 - Sunday, December 8 - Port Alfred

Cross the Great Fish River onto Grahamstown, now known as Makhanda where you will go on a walking tour of this beautifully preserved Victorian settler town. Lunch at My Pond Hotel in Port Alfred, followed by a relaxing river cruise on the Kowie River. Transfer onwards to Oceana Game Reserve, your lodging for the night. You have an evening Game Drive organised before a dinner at the lodge.

DAY 6 - Monday, December 9 - Haga Haga

Visit the birth and resting place of the great Steve Biko. You will experience his legacy at the Steve Biko Foundation, a community development organisation; followed by lunch at Man Buy and Braai. After lunch you will have an opportunity to browse the Afro Child and Amatola Craft Hub and other Craft outlets. Then onto your hotel for the next 2 nights the, Miarestate Hotel in Haga Haga on the Wild Coast.

DAY 8 - Wednesday, December 11 - East London / Johannesburg

Transfer from the hotel to East London Airport for flight to Johannesburg. Return to Thaba Eco Hotel for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation. Tonight’s dinner will be at the Arthouse, in the bohemian downtown suburb of Newton following by a show at The Market Theatre.

DAY 9 - Thursday, December 12 - Kibler Park

Visit the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Includes the impressive Skerkfontien Caves, famous for their globally acclaimed fossils, and the Maropeng Visitors Centre, an award winning, world-class exhibition centre, focusing on the development of humankind.

Here you will meet Dr Lindsay Hunter, biological anthropologist. Lunch at The Oaks Restaurant then return to the hotel and get ready for dinner and show this evening.
